Food Production Area Cleaners and Degreasers
ACCA food-industry cleaners and degreasers are developed to remove oil, protein, organic residues and mineral deposits from production lines, CIP systems, tanks, filling equipment, floors, walls and working surfaces. Alkaline, acidic, foaming, non-foaming and sanitizing products help establish controlled cleaning programmes in dairy, meat, beverage, canning, oil-processing and other food-production facilities.
Food production equipment can accumulate oil, protein, sugar, starch, cooking residues and mineral deposits. If these contaminants are not removed regularly, they may negatively affect production efficiency, product quality and facility hygiene.
A single cleaner cannot provide the same result on every contamination type. Alkaline cleaners are generally used for organic residues such as fats and proteins, while acidic products are used for limescale and mineral deposits. Foaming products provide extended contact time on open surfaces, whereas low-foam or non-foaming chemicals are preferred in closed CIP systems.
Cleaning and sanitizing also serve different purposes. Cleaning removes visible and invisible contamination from the surface. Sanitizing helps control microbiological load on an already cleaned surface. An effective programme may include pre-rinsing, chemical cleaning, intermediate rinsing, acidic cleaning where required, sanitizing and final rinsing.
The ACCA range includes alkaline and acidic CIP chemicals, foaming cleaners for open surfaces, stainless-steel polishing products, organic-deposit removers and sanitizing products based on different active substances.
CIP Cleaning Products
DETERMAT CIP BASICO
A concentrated, non-foaming alkaline cleaner developed particularly for CIP systems in the dairy industry. It helps remove organic deposits such as fats and proteins from closed processing systems.
It is formulated to work effectively at low dosages. Its non-foaming properties support use in pipelines, tanks and enclosed equipment with high circulation rates.
DETERMAT G LIQUIDO
A non-foaming cleaning and sanitizing product containing alkaline components, chlorine and sequestering agents. It is developed particularly for daily cleaning and sanitizing of milking systems.
It helps remove organic contamination and supports cleaning and odour control. Because it contains chlorine, it must never be mixed with acids or incompatible chemicals.
DETERMAT AD LIQUIDO
A sequestering-agent-based additive developed for caustic-soda cleaning baths. It supports washing performance and may help reduce caustic consumption and overall cleaning costs.
At washing temperatures of approximately 45 to 75 degrees Celsius, it also helps control foam. It is a process additive for improving caustic cleaning systems rather than a stand-alone cleaner.
DETERMAT SS
A medium-strength acidic descaler based on phosphoric and nitric acids with buffered action. It can be used to remove mineral deposits from milking systems, CIP lines and similar food-industry equipment.
Its non-foaming formulation is suitable for closed-loop circulation. It can also be considered for passivation of new installations and washing new bottles.
DETERMAT SS O
A strong descaler based on nitric and phosphoric acids. It is developed to remove limescale and mineral residues from equipment and closed systems in dairy, canning and other food-processing facilities.
Its non-foaming formulation enables controlled circulation in CIP systems. Material compatibility must be confirmed because of its strong acidic nature.
RE-TAR LIQUIDO HD 36
A liquid alkaline cleaner and degreaser developed to remove organic deposits and cooking residues. It can be used in canning plants and general food-production facilities.
It is also suitable for degreasing separators in olive-oil and other oil-processing facilities. Its liquid form simplifies bath preparation and automatic dosing.
RE-TAR POLVERE HD 36
A powder alkaline cleaner and degreaser developed for the same general applications as RE-TAR LIQUIDO. It removes organic deposits, cooking residues and oily contamination.
It can be considered in food and canning facilities that prefer powder products and for cleaning separators in oil-processing plants.
Foaming and Manual Cleaners
SPUMAREM
An alkaline foaming detergent developed for cleaning and degreasing floors, walls, tanks and equipment in food-production facilities.
When applied using suitable foam equipment, it produces dense foam that adheres to the surface and provides longer chemical contact on vertical areas.
SPUMA C
A foaming product developed for cleaning, sanitizing and odour control on containers, tanks, walls and floors in the food industry. It is applied using suitable foam lances and can be incorporated into open-surface cleaning programmes.
SPUMA PERACID
A peracetic-acid-based foaming cleaner and sanitizer developed for foam cleaning and sanitizing of open surfaces in the food industry.
It provides strong sanitizing action even at low temperatures. Its concentration, contact time and rinsing requirements must be managed according to the technical instructions.
SPUMACALC
An acidic foaming cleaner developed to remove light limescale deposits from surfaces and equipment in food-production areas.
It is applied using foam lances and adheres to vertical surfaces, allowing longer contact with mineral deposits.
SPUMABRILL
A foaming cleaner developed to clean and polish stainless-steel surfaces. It helps clean without scratching, reduce streaks and marks, and produce a more uniform and glossy appearance.
It can be used in food facilities and in machinery or metalworking plants containing stainless-steel surfaces.
TELAX L
A cleaner and softener developed to remove calcium salts from cloths and filter fabrics used in the dairy industry.
It can be used with water of different hardness levels and applied manually or in washing machines operating at approximately 60 to 70 degrees Celsius.
Sanitizing Products
ACQUA C
A stabilized sodium-hypochlorite-based chlorine-active sanitizer. It can be used for sanitizing suitable surfaces and equipment in food-production facilities.
Exposure to light and heat may reduce active chlorine content. It should be stored in its proper container under cool conditions protected from light.
IPOCLEAN
A chlorine-based cleaning and sanitizing product containing sodium hypochlorite and detergents. It supports cleaning, sanitizing and odour control on surfaces and equipment.
Because it contains chlorine, it must never be mixed with acidic products.
GLUTAR
A broad-action sanitizer based on glutaraldehyde and quaternary ammonium compounds. It is used for sanitizing suitable surfaces in agri-food and livestock facilities.
OXIDET
A hydrogen-peroxide-based sanitizing additive. It can be used alone or together with compatible detergents for cleaning and sanitizing surfaces and equipment in food-production areas.
Combined use with other chemicals should only take place in technically approved applications.
IG ACID
A peroxyacetic-acid-based, strongly oxidizing, non-foaming acidic sanitizer. It works at room temperature and is readily rinsed.
It can be used for circulation sanitizing of closed processing systems in the food industry.
