LA502 - Dual Nozzle (2K) Leak Alarm Module
Ideal for machines operating with two materials or dual nozzles, the LA502 is Airtect's dual-zone leak alarm module.
The unit monitors two separate sensor lines through the same housing, detecting leaks in the nozzle area at an early stage.
It enhances production reliability with a dual LED display, programmable parameters, and an interlock output.
It is particularly used to prevent mold and hot runner damage in multi-material automotive, packaging, and technical part production.
LA502 – Dual nozzle leak alarm
• Developed for dual injection (2K, 2 nozzle) machines. Monitors two nozzles simultaneously on the same body.
• Features an LED display and is programmable; functions are identical to LA501, but sensor connections and hose lengths are configured for the dual nozzle structure.
• In 2K molds, it provides separate leak alarms for each nozzle and can be used with hot runner manifolds.
