Application Information
Before application, remove loose contamination, dust, heavy rust and old lubricant residues where possible. Apply the product to the connection or metal surface in a thin and even layer.
When used for moisture displacement, allow sufficient time for the product to penetrate between the metal and the moisture. Displaced water and excess product can be removed with a clean cloth. Repeated application may be required in narrow connections and seized mechanisms.
The product provides light-film maintenance lubrication. Bearings, gears and mechanisms operating under heavy loads or requiring long-term lubrication should be treated with an appropriate industrial oil or grease. The technical requirements of the application should be evaluated before using FIVE HD 2 as an alternative to a dedicated lubricant.
Before maintenance, stop the machine, release pressure, isolate all energy sources safely and secure moving components. Aerosol products should be used away from open flames, sparks and hot surfaces, with adequate ventilation.
Prevent unintended contact with mold cavities, raw materials and manufactured plastic or rubber parts. A compatibility test on a limited area is recommended before application to plastics, elastomers, paints, coatings or sensitive surfaces.
