The BOY 2C M is an independent second injection unit developed by Dr. BOY for multi-component (2K) injection applications requiring high shot volumes. Compared to the BOY 2C XS and 2C S models, it offers significantly higher plasticizing capacity and increased injection performance.

 

This system enables the addition of a second injection process without mechanical modification of the main injection molding machine. As a result, existing production infrastructure is preserved while enabling hard-soft combinations, functional overmolding, and advanced technical 2K parts.

 

Independent Hydraulic Drive and Control Architecture

The BOY 2C M injection unit is equipped with its own fully independent hydraulic drive and control system. This architecture ensures:

- No impact on the performance of the main injection molding machine
- Independent process parameters for the second component
